As an Database Administrator Associate you will be performing the following responsibilities :
Under immediate supervision, the DBA will assist in the implementation and maintenance of databases including implementing and maintaining databases with respect to access methods, access time, storage allocation, validation checks, schema maintenance, database backup and recovery, database replication, database performance, and database security (including encryption). Includes maintenance of database dictionaries and integration of systems through database design. Assists users with queries and database reporting.

Oracle or Sybase knowledge required
IAT Level II certification required (GSEC, Security+, or SSCP)
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of UNIX or Windows Server desired.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience or a combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. 0-5 years of related experience is required.
Clearance:
Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
