Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to, enforcing the rules and ensuring the safety of all participants during games.
The official shall comply and abide by all policies as set forth necessary to perform sports official services.
Major Duties and Responsibilities Respond immediately and effectively to any emergency.
Afterwards report emergency immediately to designated staff person and file a safety report.
Officiate Youth and Adult Basketball Maintain standards of the game, ensure that rules are enforced, and appropriate signals and mechanics are provided.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service Ability to penalize and diffuse unsporting behavior as game rules allow Setup and take down equipment as required Communicate any problems or concerns to designated staff personnel.
Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Training will be provided:
Must have great customer relations and communication skills as well as reliable transportation Required Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
To complete/comprehend provided training.
General knowledge of the sport and the rules that govern the sport Current First Aid, CPR, and BLS certificates Age:
