Enterprise Service Desk Agent - Senior with Security Clearance
Responsibilities What you'll do:
Provide support for Peraton's first-line response center or Service Desk located at Peterson AFB, CO with 24 / 7 operations.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting, implementing, and administering systems.
Serves as technical point of contact for engineering review boards considering all additions to or changes to the operating environment.
The candidate must be able to assist local and remote users with complex IT-related issues and support daily IT operations.
The successful candidate(s) must possess solid interpersonal skills in addition to high technical aptitude.
Position is designated as Mission Essential.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provides user support and advanced troubleshooting as part of a 24 / 7 support team Tier 3 Service Desk Support Supports the Active Directory structure and domain controller operations Provides remote Systems Administration for the data center and ISN systems, and software support for the EITSM toolsets in our data center and ISN systems Any issues not resolved by the Tier 2 Team will be escalated to this team, for advanced troubleshooting Coordinates OEM vendor activities when needed (upgrades, repairs), and contributes to system design and engineering when needed Provide diagnosis for system software / hardware failures and assist in developing solutions Provide accurate, detailed, and timely updates to tickets and projects Monitor the network, applications, configurations, server configurations, net flows, logs, device tracker, virtualization, database performance, storage performance, and patch management Identify, document, and resolve end-user issues/problems encountered on network/computing equipment Performs System, Performance, and Environmental Monitoring Responsible for vulnerability patching and upgrades for remediation and automated enterprise patching Executes and participates in System Acceptance Testing Provide remote configuration support for new systems Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.
Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases.
Implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures Other project support as neededQualifications What you'll need:
BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2 Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or in lieu of equivalent 5 - 7 Years of relevant experience Training and/or base certifications for one or more industry certs (MCSE, CCNA, VMware Certifications) Certifications desired:
A+, Network+, or CompTIA Security
CE etc.

Experience:

Target Salary Range $86,000 - $138,000.
This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
