Cyber Security Analyst
An Employer is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to sit at Scott AFB in the Illinois area.
The role is part of a team of IT professionals responsible for all aspects of Cyber Security when it comes to the entire Airforce across the country.
It is their job to ensure that all networks are green and running against cyber threats and malicious cyber threat actor motivations.
This person should have working knowledge of threat analysis and enterprise level cyber threat mitigation strategies.
They will be one of the go to people to assist with compliance and cyber policy for users in the AF who are wanting to change their processes, add physical pieces of technology somewhere etc.
They will ensure these users have the right packages of compliance, the stigs and regulations for these users in order for them to complete what they are wanting/needing to do.
-Additional Cyber certifications-Bachelor's Degree- highly preferred5
years' experience in the network environment (interfaces, routers, switches, firewalls, and access or transfer cross domain solutions)-Experience with Risk Management (preparing approval documentation for authorization/approval)-Experience with reviewing engineering data for DoD, and AF Networks-Sec
certification-Secret Clearance Recommended Skills Computer Security Electrical Switchgear Firewalls (Computer Science) Ms Access Network Router Risk Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
