Mid-level Logistics Support Analyst with Security Clearance
Responsibilities Peraton is currently seeking a Logistics Support Analyst to provide support to Joint Distribution Process Analysis Center.
(JDPAC).
Location:
On-site Scott AFB, IL In this role, you will:
Apply logistics, distribution and supply chain knowledge to support the analysis and assessment of global and regional deployment and distribution processes.
Requires familiarity with military strategic directives and USTRANSCOM processes, and the ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of enterprise stakeholders.
Ability to lead or contribute to deployment and distribution related projects and studies that leverage inputs from a wide variety of functional areas and data sources.
Retrieve data from a broad range of sources, Compile data into formats and quality sufficient to conduct analytic activities, and apply basic analytic tools and techniques to produce decision-support products.
Plan product output will typically be in MS Excel, PDF, PowerPoint, MS Word, or web format.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5 years' experience or a Master's Degree with 3 years experience or a PhD.
Will consider a combined 20 years of military operational experience (5 of which earned as E-6 or O-3 or above) in lieu of degree.
Operational experience includes planning and executing combined and joint operations at the theater or component level, knowledge of combat arms, logistics, civil-military operations, USTRANSCOM's area of responsibility (or functional area) and task related experience.
Position requires a balance of functional and well-developed writing skills with a proficiency using Microsoft Office suite, familiarity with SharePoint functions and Task Management Tool.
Must enjoy working in a team environment with frequent customer contact and have excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated skills in solving problems, troubleshooting, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Proven experience prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
Experience in the development of military plans.
US citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
