SUMMARY The Intermediate Software Developer provides support to the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Program Executive Office - TRANSCOM (PEO-T). This position supports the management and oversight of IT systems as well as Operation and Sustainment (O&S) efforts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintains currency in applications expertise. Recommends future directions or projects to clients. Resolves customer problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements/enhancements. Works with technical staff and/or customer to evaluate and develop solutions for complex software problems. Develops and manages SharePoint sites and applications in a SharePoint environment. Analyzes business needs and develops custom solutions. Works with customers to define ideal site metadata, layout, structure, storage and information architecture. Solicits complex requests from customers and analyzes to provide an ideal solution in SharePoint. Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company. Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output. Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and co-workers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions as the best of own ability. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related discipline, and a minimum of three (3) years' experience, or equivalent combination of education / experience. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGRISTRATION This position requires Secret Security Clearance JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES Advance knowledge in basic programming languages, particularly VB.net, MS SQL Server 2008, Microsoft .NET frameworks, ASP.NET, C#, and Web development skills (HTML/CSS, JavaScript), in order to create a viable and attractive product Exceptional software development and programming skills Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to develop and follow through on creative solutions for software design and development tasks Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to organize, document, present and explain information Ability to escalate issues in a timely manner Ability to apply logic and reasoning to goals and assumptions Ability to coordinate efforts with others for the timely completion of projects and deliverables Ability to work well both individually and in a team environment Ability to be self-motivated and to deliver quality products with limited direction and guidance LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
